! Stop engine and let cool.

1 Spark Arrestor Screen

Clean and inspect screen. Replace spark arrestor if screen wires are broken or missing.

! Stop engine.

NOTICE − Do not run engine with- out air cleaner or with dirty element.

1 Precleaner

Wash precleaner with soap and wa- ter solution. Allow precleaner to air dry completely.

Spread 1 tablespoon SAE 30 oil evenly into precleaner. Squeeze out excess oil.

2 Element

Replace element if damaged, dirty, or oily.
