DISPLAY

The display on the OPS1200 is an LCD display arranged in a 4 line by 40 digit format. The lines are numbered 0, 1, 2, and 3 from top to bottom. The columns are numbered 0, 1, 2, … 39 from left to right. There are two commands available to control the cursor position.

“VPOS” controls the vertical positioning and “HPOS” controls the horizontal positioning. these commands are described in detail in Chapter 2 of this manual. To send display characters to the LCD screen, the “PRINT” command is used.
