Top edge

Component		Description

(1)	Volume down button	Decreases speaker volume.

(2)	Volume up button	Increases speaker volume.

(3)	USB port	Connects optional USB devices.
		NOTE: To use an external optical disc drive
		(purchased separately) connected to the Slate, you
		must connect AC power separately to the external
		drive.

(4)	Ctrl+alt+del (Security) button	Performs the same action as pressing ctrl+alt+del
		on a computer keyboard.

(5)	Home button	Minimizes all open applications and displays the
		Windows desktop.

Bottom edge

Component		Description

(1)	Speakers (2)	Produce sound.

(2)	Power connector	Connects an AC adapter or an HP Slate Dock.
