Identifying wireless and network status icons

HP Connection Manager

Opens HP Connection Manager, which enables you to create and manage

 

(select models only)

WWAN connections (select models only), and monitor the status of WLAN

 

 

and Bluetooth connections.

 

 

 

 

Network (connected)

Indicates that one or more network devices are connected to a network.

 

 

 

 

Network (disconnected)

Indicates that network devices are not connected to a network.

 

 

 

 

Network (disabled/

Indicates that no wireless connections are available.

Turning wireless devices on or off

You can use HP Connection Manager (select models only) to turn on and turn off wireless devices.

To turn off wireless devices using HP Connection Manager:

Tap and hold the HP Connection Manager icon in the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar, and then tap the power button next to the desired device.

Tap Start, tap All Programs, tap HP, tap HP Connection Manager, and then tap the power button next to the desired device.
