Identifying your multimedia components

The following illustration and table describe the multimedia features of the Slate.

Outward camera

Records video and captures still photographs.

 

 

NOTE: To capture still photos and record video, you can

 

 

use the HP Slate Camera software. Tap the Outward

 

 

button to use the outward camera.

Inward camera

Records video and captures still photographs.

 

 

NOTE: To capture still photos and record video, you can

 

 

use the HP Slate Camera software. Tap the Inward button

 

 

to use the inward camera.

 

 

 

(3)

Audio-out (headphone)/Audio-in

Produces sound when connected to optional powered

 

(microphone) combo jack

stereo speakers, headphones, earbuds, a headset, or line-in

 

 

stereo audio.connectors. Also connects an optional headset

 

 

microphone.

 

 

NOTE: When an audio component is connected to the

 

 

jack, the Slate speakers are disabled.

 

 

The audio component cable may have a 3-conductor or 4-

 

 

conductor connector.
