Note	NDPS (Novell Distributed Print Services) is
	Novell's next generation printing architecture.
	NDPS is standard in NetWare 5 and is available for
	NetWare 4.11 and intraNetWare. For additional
	information and details on how to obtain the
	HP IP/IPX Printer Gateway, refer to the JetDirect
	Administrator’s Guide.

Installing the HP JetAdmin Software

Before you install the HP JetAdmin software, make sure that the IPX/SPX-compatible protocol is loaded and that you have installed the latest Novell NetWare client for your system.

Note	In a Microsoft Windows 95, NT, or 2000
	environment, HP JetAdmin requires the Novell
	NetWare Client.

If the HP JetAdmin software was included on your printer’s CD-ROM, see your printer documentation for installation instructions.

If you are installing from the HP JetDirect CD-ROM, use the following installation instructions.

1.Log onto the network with Supervisor privileges at any user workstation.

2.Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
