HP Jetadmin Software for OS/2 manual To Access Job Details from HP JetAdmin

Page 43

The Status of the job is ready; it changes to active after the printer warms up. After the job is printed the job line disappears.

This procedure tests the ability of the HP JetDirect print server to service the Novell queue. It also bypasses the Novell client software as well as the Windows printer driver and the Windows operating system. If the file prints by inserting it into the queue, then the HP JetDirect print server is working properly.

Job Details

Job Details enables you to view and delete your own print jobs and provides information on the status of your print jobs in the queue. With HP JetAdmin (version 3.3 or above), Job Details includes the following information:

Document name

Status (printing, spooling, etc.)

Owner

Progress of print jobs (in MB)

Time print job was started

To Access Job Details from HP JetAdmin
