6More About Your Printer and Supplies

Minimum Printing Margins

The printer cannot print outside a certain area of the page, so you must make sure the contents of your document fall within the printable areaÑthat is, within the top, bottom, left, and right margins available for the specific size of paper on which you are printing.

When you use nonstandard paper sizes and select the Custom Paper Size setting in the HP print settings box, the paper width must be between 77 and 215 mm (3 and 8.5 inches) and the paper length must be between 77 and 356 mm (3 and 14 inches).
