Zoom Mode

Select the mode that determines the document size according to the obtained effective coordinate area. Also determine whether the paper is set in landscape or portrait according to the effective coordinate area.

When set to [Coordinate Area]:

The area obtained by removing the area specified by making the [Paper Margin] setting from the effective coordinate area obtained in [Area Determine] is determined as the effective coordinate area.

When set to [Output Size]:

The document size is determined by the obtained effective coordinate area and origin position setting. The document size is selected from A sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3, A4, and A5).

Determining the Document Size

The document size is determined by comparing it with the hard clip areas of different sizes of paper based on the effective coordinate area obtained according to [Zoom Mode], [Paper Margin], and [Area Determine] settings.

When [Zoom Mode] Is Set to [Output Size]

1.The effective effective coordinate area is obtained from the input HP-GL data in the specified [Area Determine].

2.The size of the character specified in the page (or the default character size) or the value that is one half the specified pen width, whichever is larger, is added to the effective coordinate area obtained in 1 as a margin.

3.The area specified as a paper margin is removed from the effective coordinate area obtained in 2.

4.The size of the minimum area that contains the effective coordinate area obtained in 3 is determined as the document size.

When [Zoom Mode] Is Set to [Coordinate Area]

1.The effective coordinate area is obtained from the input HP-GL data in the specified [Area Determine].

2.The size of the character specified in the page (or the default character size) or the value that is one half the specified pen width, whichever is larger, is added to the effective coordinate area obtained in 1 as a margin.

3.The area specified as a paper margin is removed from the effective coordinate area obtained in 2.

4.The effective coordinate area obtained by performing the above steps 1 to 3 is determined as the document size.
