Minisoft’s MS92 Terminal Emulator

For users running Minisoft’s MS92 terminal emulator, there are some special setup steps you need to perform in order to be able to allow NetMail/3000 to automatically upload and down- load files between the HP3000 and your PC. If you do not take these steps, you will still be able to run NetMail/3000 and have all the capabilities of an HP terminal, but will not have the option of attaching files from your PC or saving them to the PC.

To enable these features, perform either of the following:

1)In the MS92 terminal configuration (“CONFIG” heading in the Windows version, then under the “SPECIAL” selection) set the Serial Numbers fields to start with “MS92”;

9 character: MS92

14 character: MS92

2) Set the following Job Control Word before running NetMail/3000:

:SETJCW MS92WIN=1

(if using the Windows version of MS92)

or

:SETJCW MS92DOS=1

(if using the MS/DOS version of MS92)
