Note FC Boot Device Limitations: Booting from a boot device connected via a Fibre Channel fabric switch is not supported. Connect the boot device directly to the system using one of the previously listed Fibre Channel cards.

HP-UX Boot Support Requirements: Systems having adapters connected to boot devices may require a PDC firmware update.
