Menu Options
The following menu options are available for the cold install of
Cold Install: Basic Configuration Choices
You can select one of three choices for the basic configuration of your system:
•Default configuration
•Technical Computing configuration
•Commercial Servers configuration
Each configuration selects automatically the HWE patch bundle required for all current and new hardware, including the latest HP servers and workstations supported on
Technical Computing and Commercial Servers configurations also match the HP Instant Ignition options with the current patch bundles and diagnostic products recommended for new HP systems. The HP_UX 11.00 Default and Technical Computing choices still include the required November 1999 ACE bundle.
