4.Unscrew and remove the slot cover next to the card slot you want to use.

5.Slide the card firmly into the connector and replace the slot cover screw.

Important If you have already installed a PCI card, you can install only one ISA card—and it must be in the lower ISA slot.

6.Replace the shield.

7.Plug in the ac adapter.

8.Replace the cable cover and dock the OmniBook.

9.If you’re using Windows for Workgroups.

Install the software for the card following the manufacturer’s instructions. If the card isn’t detected, contact the card manufacturer.

If you’re using Windows 95

If the card isn’t detected, in Control Panel double-click Add New Hardware.

If you are using Windows 95, you’ll need to remove the card you added from the undocked configuration. See the following procedure.
