Removing 3Com DynamicAccess Advanced Server Features

Follow the steps in this section to remove 3Com DynamicAccess Advanced Server features from your operating system.

Windows 2003, Windows XP, and Windows 2000

The Windows 2003, Windows XP, and Windows 2000 systems do not allow you to uninstall the 3Com Advanced Server technology miniport using the Device Manager. To remove 3Com DynamicAccess Advanced Server features:

1Launch the Network and Dial-up Connections window.

2Select a Local Area Connection icon.

3Click the right mouse button and select Properties from the menu. The Local Area Connections Properties window appears.

4Click the General tab.

5In the General window, select DynamicAccess Protocol and click Uninstall.

Windows NT 4.0

To remove 3Com DynamicAccess Advanced Server features:

1From the Start menu, select Settings/Control Panel.

2Double-click the Network icon.

3In the Network window, click the Protocols tab.

4In the Protocols tab, select DA Pass Thru Driver Transport.

5Click Remove.

6Follow the prompts to remove the software and reboot the server.

NetWare

To remove 3Com DynamicAccess Advanced Server features:

1Enter this command at the prompt: load nwconfig

2In the Installation Options screen, select Product options.

3In the Other Installation Actions screen, select View/Configure/Remove installed products.

The Currently Installed Products screen appears, listing software products that are installed in the system.

4From the list of products, select 3Com DynamicAccess Server Features and press Del.

5Select Yes to remove the software.
