Storage Management Appliance software v2.0 supports Storage Area Manager v3.0; Storage Management Appliance software v2.1 supports Storage Area Manager v3.0 or v3.1. This document clearly identifies the configuration procedures required for each version.
Hardware and Software Requirements
To successfully install and run Storage Area Manager on the SMA, you need the following:
■Storage Management Appliance II, with an additional 1 GB of memory or Storage Management Appliance III
■Storage Area Manager v3.0 (v03.00.03.0021 or later) or v3.1
■Storage Management Appliance software v2.0, with Service Pack 4 or Storage Management Appliance software v2.1
