6.Keep the new configuration and exit SYSGEN:

Enter Y for Purge old configuration (yes/no)?.

7.Create a device link file using mknod:

:mknod “/dev/dlt_picker c 0 30” :mknod “/dev/dlt_tape01 c 0 31” :mknod “/dev/dlt_tape02 c 0 32”

8.Restart the system to verify the changes.

After you connected and configured SCSI libraries, configure them for use with Data Protector. For detailed steps, see the online Help index: “configuring SCSI libraries”.

Backup

TurboSTORE/iX supports two backup types:
