Minimum flow adjustment for hob gas taps
All work must be carried out by a CORGI registered engineer.
o Switch the burner on and set the knob at the minimum position.
o Remove the knob from the tap and place a small bladed screwdriver to the outside the tap.
oUnscrew the adjusting screw, in order to increase the gas flow or tighten the adjusting screw to decrease the gas flow.
oThe correct adjustment is obtained when the flame has a length of about 3 – 4 mm.
oFor butane/propane gas, the adjusting screw must be tightly screwed in.
oRefit the control knob.
oMake sure that the flame does not go out by quickly turning from maximum flow to minimum flow. If it does then remove the control knob and make further adjustments to the gas flow, testing it again once the adjustment has been made.
