Engine Oil Replacement

1. Warm up the engine for several minutes, place the utility car on a level surface, then stop the engine.

WARNING

Use caution not to touch hot engine oil or hot engine parts, during the following procedure.

Place an oil pan under the engine

 

 

 

drain plug.

 

 

3.

Remove the oil drain plug and let

 

 

 

 

 

the oil drain completely.

 

 

NOTE:

 

 

Dispose of used oil in an environmen-

 

 

tally safe way, such as taking oil to an

 

 

oil collection station.

Install the drain plug, along with a

 

 

 

new drain plug gasket, finger tight

 

 

 

 

 

 

before tightening to the following

 

 

 

torque:

Oil change quantity: 1.0 US qt

Drain plug torque:

5.Add the correct quantity of oil 10 through the oil filler hole.

NOTE:11

Recommended engine oil classifica- tion: API Service SE, SF, or SG. Engine oils labeled “Energy Conserv- ing II” are recommended.
