Editing registered channels

Pressing TOOLS from the Edit Channel page displays the following menu items. Provided functions may vary depending on the broadcast signal.

Aerial

Select either Air or Cable as digital channel mode.

 

 

Category

Channels saved on your TV are classified under the All, Added Ch., Recently

 

Viewed and Most Viewed categories. Select a desired category.

 

 

Edit Favorites

Set frequently viewed channels as favourites channels.

 

 

Rename Channel

Change the names of analogue channels to suit your preferences. A channel

 

name can be up to five characters long.

 

 

Channel Info

Check the information of the channel.

 

 

Information

View information about the current broadcast programme on the aerial.

 

 

Locking/unlocking channels using a password

Lock specific channels to prevent children from accessing inappropriate content. ――To set a password, make sure Programme Rating Lock is set to On.

Select a channel from the Edit Channel page, and then select Programme Rating Lock from the

 

screen. The password input window is displayed.

Enter the password. The selected channel is locked.

Unlocking channels

Select a locked channel from the Edit Channel page, and then select Programme Rating Lock Off

 

from the screen. The password input window is displayed.

Enter the password. The selected channel is unlocked.
