RS-232 Communication Port Connection

A 9-pin connector for serial communication is required to make connection to the PC. Connect the 9 pin connector for RS-232 communications as follows:

9-Pin Female Connector

1.Connect RS-232 TX to pin #2 of the 9-pin connector.

2.Connect RS-232 RX to pin #3 of the 9-pin connector.

3.Connect RS-232 GND to pin #5 of the 9-pin connector.

4.Connect the serial communication connector to the serial COM port of the computer.

5.Install and launch the application (SAMS).
