Follow these steps to use RDS.

1.Turn on the receiver.

2.Tune the receiver to an FM station that transmits RDS (and CT) infor- mation.

3.Set TIME SET on the right side of the receiver to AUTO.

4.Make sure that your local time (as described in “Setting and Viewing the Local Time” on Page 16) has been set correctly. (The receiver compares the CT information with your local time to display the cor- rect time at the broadcaster’s loca- tion).

5.If your time zone is using Daylight

Saving Time, repeatedly press

until 1.Turn on the receiver.5.If your time zone is using Daylight appears.
