4 - DO NOT draw the return air from a room where another gas appliance (ie., a water heater) is

installed. Even though this furnace draws its com- bustion air from outside of the structure, other gas appliances that share a utility room may not. When return air is drawn from a room, a negative pressure is created in the room. If a gas appliance is operating in a room with negative pressure, the flue products can be pulled back down the vent pipe and into the room. This reverse flow of the flue gas may result in incomplete combustion and the formation of carbon monoxide gas. This toxic gas might then be distrib- uted through the house by the furnace duct system.

Your furnace is a gas appliance. It is critical that the gas supplied to the unit be completely burned to avoid the pro- duction of carbon monoxide gas. Complete combustion of the gas requires, but is not limited to, correct gas pres- sure and gas flow rate, adequate combustion, air, and proper venting.

WARNING

Carbon monoxide gas is invisible, odorless, and toxic.

Exposure to this gas can cause personal injury and even death to all occupants, including pets. Any item that is pow- ered by or gives off heat from a combustion process (in- cluding lawn mowers, automobiles, and fireplaces) has the potential to produce carbon monoxide gas. Because of this, Lennox recommends the use of a carbon monox-

ide detector in your home, even if you do not own gas

GSR21Q, GSR21V specifications

Lennox International Inc. is a renowned name in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry, consistently delivering innovative and high-performance products. Among their range of offerings, the GSR21V and GSR21Q models are noteworthy for their advanced technologies and superior characteristics, making them ideal for both residential and commercial applications.

The GSR21V is designed for variable speed operation, allowing for precise control over airflow and temperature. This model utilizes a variable speed inverter technology, which not only provides enhanced energy efficiency but also ensures continuous comfort by adapting to changing conditions. Its ability to operate at lower speeds reduces energy consumption significantly, leading to substantial cost savings over time. Additionally, the GSR21V features noise-reducing technology, ensuring that it operates quietly, a crucial factor for both residential and commercial environments.

In contrast, the GSR21Q focuses on providing reliable performance with solid two-stage cooling capabilities. This model is engineered to deliver consistent and efficient heating and cooling throughout varying temperatures. It features a robust compressor design that enhances its durability and lifespan. Like the GSR21V, the GSR21Q also comes equipped with energy-efficient technologies that contribute to lower utility bills and a reduced carbon footprint.

Both models showcase advanced refrigerant management systems that are environmentally friendly and compliant with the latest regulations. They utilize refrigerants designed to minimize ozone depletion and global warming potential, highlighting Lennox's commitment to sustainability.

Critical to both the GSR21V and GSR21Q is their smart technology integration. These units can connect to smart home systems, allowing users to monitor performance, adjust settings, and receive maintenance alerts remotely. This feature not only enhances user convenience but also ensures optimal operation by enabling proactive maintenance.

The GSR21V and GSR21Q are designed with user-friendly interfaces, making them accessible for installation and maintenance. The models come equipped with comprehensive warranty options, providing peace of mind to consumers. In summary, Lennox International Inc.'s GSR21V and GSR21Q units represent the pinnacle of innovation in HVAC systems, combining energy efficiency, advanced technology, and user convenience to meet the diverse needs of modern heating and cooling applications.
