Thermostat Control Operation

(Optional GHRCT Only) The thermo- stat control setting on the remote control unit can be set to any comfort level be- tween HI and LO. The Burners will turn on and off automatically to maintain the comfort level you select. The ideal com- fort setting will vary by household de- pending upon the amount of space to be heated, the output of the central heating system, etc.

For wall thermostat operation, follow in- struction supplied with thermostat ac- cessory GWMT1. For wall switch opera- tion follow instructions supplied with GWMS2.

NOTICE: You must light the pilot before using the hand-held re- mote control unit. See Lighting Instructions on page 14.

1.After lighting, let pilot flame burn for about one minute. Turn control knob to ON position. Adjust flame adjust- ment knob anywhere between HI and LO. Slide the remote selector switch to the REMOTE position (see Figure 27). The burners will come on. You can now turn the burners on and off with the hand-held remote con- trol unit.

IMPORTANT: Do not leave the re- mote selector switch in the RE- MOTE position when the pilot is not lit. This will drain the battery.
