Baje los dientes de transporte.. Haga coincidir los agujeros en el bot6n con la ranura horizontal en el pie prensatetas (A). Ajuste la anchura de las puntadas igual&ndola a la distancia de tos agujeros en el bot6n. Baje el pie prensatelas para sujetar el bot6n en su sitio. Compruebe que la aguja entra por uno de los agujeros del bot6n, girando el volante con la mano.. Cosa unas diez (10) puntadas.

Para reforzar el talto, corte los hilos dejando unos 4" (10 cm) Traiga hacia abajo el hilo de la aguja a trav6s de uno de los agujeros def bot6n y enr61te!o alrededor del ta!loo Traiga el hilo de la aguja ensartada hasta fa parte opuesta de la tela y anude tos hiios_ Despu_s de que el bot6n sea cosido, levante los dientes de transporte para coser normalmente..

Ajuste la anchura de puntada entre 5,0 a 6,5 cuando emplee el Prensatelas C para costuras sobre el borde para evitar que se pueda romper la aguja o que se da_e el prensatelaso

Muy util en la construcci6n de prendas y para sobrehilar o rematar bordes brutos en cualquier proyecto de costura.. Empiece a rematar un 1/8" (0.3 cm) dentro del borde bruto. Si empieza a coser justo al horde, la tela se arrugar& y las puntadas quedar&n real cruzadas.. ','Guie la tela con cuidado de forma que los bordes

brutos est6n siempre en contacto con la banda negra y el cepitlo gu[a..

Abaissez les griffes d'entrainement.. Faites correspondre les trous du bouton avec fa fente horizontale du pied presseur [A],. R6gfez la iargeur du point pour qu'elle corresponde & ta distance entre les trous du bouton. Abaissez le pied presseur pour maintenir le bouton en place. V6rifiez que t'aiguille passe darts les trous du bouton en tournant le volant & la main, Cousez environ dix (10) points..

Pour renforcer la tige du bouton, coupez ie fil en laissant environ 4'(10 cm). Faites passer le fit de I'aiguille dans l'undes trous du bouton et enroulezqe autour de la tige du bouton Faites passer le fil de l'aiguiile sur I'enversdu tissu et nouez fes ills. A la fin de la couture du bouton,

remontez les griffes d'entrainement pour la couture normale,

R_glez la largeur du point entre 5,.0 et 65 quand vous utilisez le pied pour surfiler C afin d'6viter de casser I'aiguitle ou d'endommager le pied..

Ce point est utile pour le montage des v6tements et pour finir les bords bruts de tousles ouvrages de couture. Commencez & surfiler & environ 1/8" (0.3 cm} & I'int_rieur du bord brut du tissu_ Si vous commencez tout au bord, le tissu se fronce et les points s'emm61ent..
