Esta puntada de costura es para coser costuras de remate o sobrehilado., Esta puntada es usada cuando se

cosen o crean trajes de baSo, pantalones de esquiar y otras prendas que requieren de material el&stico,

o Para coser:

Cotoque el borde bruto de la tela a fa "izquierda" de la aguja como es mostrado en fa ilustraci6n,. Cosa de tal forma que la aguja traspase o penetre la tela muy cerca del borde exterior. Tambi6n puede colocar ta tela dejando unos 5/8'"(I o6 cm) entre la costura y el borde, cortando despu_s la tela sobrante.

Los bordes brutos o desgastados pueden ser rematados con est& puntada para evitar futuros deshilachamientos

NOTA:

Use una aguja azul elastica No. 11, la cual previene efectivamente puntadas saltadas.

Esta es una puntada decorativa deticada, empleada en prendas de niBos o blusas de seSoras Elija una tefa ligera y suave como el batista, guinga o chalis. Corte la tela tres veces m_s ancha de la anchura necesaria para el proyecto, Ajuste la longitud de puntada a "4" y cosa lineas paralelas de puntada recta, con una separaci6n entre ellas de 3/8" (t cm) en la zona que desea fruncir.

Anude los hilos a !o largo del borde. Tire det hilo de la canilla por el extremo no anudado para distribuir uniformemente los frunces, y asegure los hitos..

Cosa con las puntadas decorativas que desee entre las tineas fruncidas. Quite los hitos de puntada recta que manten[an el fruncido.

NOTA: Afloje la tensi6n det hilo de la aguja para facilitar el fruncido.

Nouez les ills au bord du tissu. Tirez sur les ills de

canette pour grouper les fronces r6guli6rement et attachez les ills.
