BEFORE CLEANING:
•Vacuum carpet thoroughly with a regular vacuum cleaner.
Remove as much furniture from the room as possible. If unable to remove the furniture, place plastic or foil under and around the legs until the carpet has dried completely.
Check for color fastness. Dampen a white cloth with solution. Test a small
area in an inconspicuous place. Gently rub the cloth over the area. Check each color for bleeding. If the cloth remains clean, it should be safe to shampoo the carpet.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to use the green carpet nozzle and Kenmore ® Carpet &
Upholstery Concentrate Cleaner when operating as a carpet shampooer. See
page 10 for instructions on changing nozzles.
CAUTION: Do not use the cleaner to dry vacuum carpets; this could damage appliance.

clockwise to lock nozzle onto cleaner.

Remove
Tank" System from
cleaner by pushing down on tank latch
and tilting out.
Remove measure cap from the rear of the Clean Water Tank.
Pour 2capfuls of Kenmore ® Carpet &
Upholstery Concentrate Cleaner into Clean Water Tank.
