Disassembling your blender for cleaning, care and storage

1.Always ensure the Blender is off by turning the dial to the OFF position. Then switch off at the power outlet and unplug the power cord.

2.Remove the blender jug from the motor base by grasping the handle and lifting the jug in an upward direction.

3.To remove the blade assembly for cleaning, hold the jug up and remove the collar from the base by turning it anti-clockwise.

4.To remove the blades from the jug apply pressure on the underside of the blades. They should pop up inside the blender jug.

motor overload protection

Your blender is equipped with overload protection.

If your blender is overloaded the motor will stop and the “overload protection” light will flash, next to the ice crush button.

Please do not attempt to use the blender while the “overload protection” light is flashing.

Once the warning light stops flashing (this could take up to 30 minutes) the blender has cooled sufficiently and is ready to use again. Reselect the desired speed or function. If you have turned the blender off you will need to switch it back on, wait for the flashing light to stop then reselect the desired speed or function.

We recommend removing a portion of the mixture, cutting food into smaller pieces of even sizing and / or processing a smaller amount per batch.

Reassembling your blender jug after cleaning

1.Ensure parts are clean and completely dry.

2.Turn the blender jug upside down on the bench. Place the blade assembly collar onto the blade assembly and turn in a clockwise direction until tight.

3.Place the inner measurement cup into the lid and turn until firmly locked into position.

WARNING

Never place anything other than food and liquids in the blender whilst the motor is running.

WARNING

Be careful when handling the blending blades as they are sharp. Mishandling of the blades may cause injury.
