Descalcificaçã o

Descalcifique regularmente a sua máquina de café. Para uma utilização normal (duas chávenas cheias por dia), aplicam-se as seguintes regras:

dureza até 18° DH (22.5º Clarke) - 2 ou 3 vezes por ano;

dureza superior a 18º DH (22.5º Clarke) - 4 ou 5 vezes por ano;

A Companhia das Águas poderá informar sobre o grau de dureza da água.

-Encha o reservatório da água até meio com vinagre vulgar.

-Coloque o jarro com a tampa e o compartimento do filtro na máquina.

-Ligue a máquina de café.

-Quando todo o vinagre tiver passado para baixo, desligue a máquina.

-Passados quatro minutos (ou mais) repita este processo de descalcificação com o mesmo vinagre.

-Lave o jarro, a tampa e o compartimento do filtro.

-Ponha a máquina a trabalhar mais duas vezes, apenas com água, para limpar completamente o vinagre e quaisquer resíduos de calcário.

-Lave o jarro, a tampa e o compartimento do filtro com uma sabonária de água quente. Enxague bem e seque.

-Se a saída de água quente ficar entupida alguma vez, pode remover a peça (material flexível) (fig. 20) e limpá-la em separado. Não se esqueça de voltar a colocar a peça antes de se servir de novo da máquina!
