Note: only available when Custom has been selected in the Colour menu.

Allows you to customise the ambilight colour.

<Select Palette to select the general colour of the light output.

<Select Saturation to adjust the colourfulness of the light.

Separation

Allows you to define the stereo effect in case, Relaxed, Moderate or Dynamic has been selected in the Mode menu.

<Select Off for a mono behaviour which means that all lamps will behave equally.

<Select Minimum, Medium or Maximum to define the Ambilight stereo effect spread over the available lamps.

Colour boost

Note: not available when Colour has been selected in the Mode menu.

Allows you to amplify the colours of the light for a more dynamic effect.

<Select Off, Minimum, Medium or Maximum according to your personal preference.

Balance

Allows you to adjust the colour and level of light intensity on the sides of the picture.

Ambilight in standby mode

When the TV is switched off, the ambient lights will also be switched off.When the TV is in standby mode, ambilight can be used to provide a unique ambience for the room.

<Press the Ambilight key on the remote control to switch between Ambilight On or Off. See Use of the remote control, p. 6.

<Press the MODE key repeatedly to toggle through the Ambilight modes.

Note: when the TV is switched to standby, and you switch Ambilight On, then less Ambilight modes are available.

Caution: Infrared interference

To avoid bad infrared remote control reception, place your peripheral equipment out of sight of the ambient lights of your TV. Ambilight does not function well when the room temperature is less than 59°F/15°C.
