Besides traditional analogue broadcasts, you can also receive digital broadcasts via a roof or loft mounted digital antenna in countries where those signals are available and which are supported by this TV.Verify if the country you are now located and you have selected during the installations (see further), supports digital video broadcasting via antenna.
See www.philips.com/support for the list of supported countries or consult your local dealer or see the sticker at the back of your TV.
Note: for digital TV channels via a cable connection, you will need an extra set top box decoder; for digital TV channel via satellite, a satellite tuner and dish mounted outdoors are required. Also certain internet providers offer digital TV channels via broadband internet and a settop box.
Switch the TV on
<Press the power switch B at the side of the TV.
>An indicator on the front of the TV lights up and the screen comes on.

First time installation
The installation procedure consists of a series of screens that will guide you through the installation of your TV.
Follow the instructions on screen.
Note: if the TV has already been installed before and/or you want to change the First time installation settings, proceed with Use of the TV menu settings, p. 14.
