Cuando se utilizan aparatos eléctricos, se deben seguir ciertas precauciones básicas de seguridad para reducir el riesgo de incendio, choques eléctricos y heridas:

1- Lea todas las Instrucciones e información de este instructivo y cualquier otro folleto o literatura que se incluya en el empaque antes de operar o utilizar el aparato.

2- No toque superficies calientes. Utilice mangos o selectores.

3- Para protegerse contra incendios, choques eléctricos y heridas, no sumerja el cable, clavija o el aparato en agua u otro líquido.

4- Es necesaria la completa supervisión cuando el aparato es utilizado por o cerca de niños.

5- Desconecte de la toma de corriente cuando no se utilice el aparato y antes de limpiarlo. Deje enfriar antes de colocar o remover partes, y antes de limpiarlo.

6- No opere ningún aparato con cable o clavija dañada o después de que haya tenido desperfectos en su funcionamiento. Llévelo al Centro de Servicio Autorizado Krups para que lo examinen y reparen (Vea Garantía Limitada ).

7- El uso de un accesorio no evaluado para el uso de este aparato puede causar problemas o heridas.

8- No use en la intemperie.

9- No deje que el cable cuelgue sobre la mesa o que toque superfi- cies calientes.

10- No coloque el aparato sobre o cerca de estufas u hornos eléctricos o de gas.

11- Para desconectar, apague el aparato y después remueva la clavija de la corriente eléctrica.

12- No utilice el aparato para otro uso que no sea el que se explica en el mismo.

13- No desatornille o remueva la tapa del boiler o caldera mientras la cafetera está en operación. Espere hasta que termine el ciclo de percolado y todo el agua y el vapor han sido utilizados.

Retire la tapa solamente después de asegurarse que la presión y el vapor remanentes han salido por la pipeta espumadora.
