NOTE: A short power-supply cord has been provided to reduce the hazards resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer cords or extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance and the extension cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled by children or tripped over accidentally.

•The “MIN” LEVEL MARK MUST BE COVERED.

•DO NOT EXCEED the “MAX” WATER LEVEL MARK when filling.

•DO NOT HOLD SWITCH ON for more than a few seconds as this may damage the automatic shut-off mechanism.

•SWITCH the kettle OFF BEFORE MOVING or POURING.

•DO NOT IMMERSE the kettle IN WATER or any OTHER LIQUID.

•If the electric cord needs replacement, ensure that a cord of the SAME ELECTRICAL TYPE AND RATING is used.
