■■ A special screen is provided at the back of the oven to catch grease par- ticles, mainly when meat is being roa- sted (fig. 10).
■■ Clean the filter after any cooking!
The grease filter can be removed for cleaning and should be washed regu- larly in hot soapy water (fig. 10).
■■ Always dry the filter properly before fit- ting it back into the oven.
CAUTION: When baking pastry etc. this
filter should be removed.
TILTING GRILL
■■ The grill is secured to the rear wall of the oven on a hinge system that allows it to be lowered to allow proper access when cleaning the oven ceiling (fig. 11). The grill is held in place by the side wire racks.
■■ To lower the grill element: unscrew the fixing screws and slide off the wire racks to the oven wall as in fig. 9a.
■■ When you have finished cleaning the oven ceiling, raise the grill element and assem- ble the wire racks on the oven walls using the 2 screws (fig. 9a). Make sure that the element is held securely in place.
