Placement of oven

Your microwave is most useful when placed near the center of your cooking area. You will find it useful for making some steps in regular cooking easy as well as for basic recipe preparation.

Because microwaves use periods are short and user attendance is necessary, you will want the oven close to your work area. It is best to have counter space beside the microwave. You may often have more than one dish ready to go in and some already cooked foods standing before serving.

-Oven must be placed on a flat, stable surface.

For proper operation, the oven must have sufficient air flow. Allow 3 inches of space on both sides of the oven.

a. Do NOT block vents on the cabinet. If they are blocked during operat on, the oven may overheat. If the oven overheats, a thermal safety device will turn the off. The oven will remain inoperable until it has cooled.
