As soon as the water temperature falls below the set temperature, the kettle heats up again automatical- ly. The LED q of the currently selected temperature setting blinks until the selected temperature has been regained. Afterwards, it glows constantly again.
After 30 minutes the kettle switches itself off. Two signal tones sound. All LEDs extinguish.
Information
- At any time you can cancel the temperature main- tenance of the water by pressing the On/Off button e or the KEEP WARM button w.
-Once you lift the kettle from the base y, the appliance switches all functions off.
Note
Do not let the water stand in the kettle for longer than is absolutely necessary. That would lead to scale deposits. Pour away the water that is no longer required.

Under NO circumstances may the appliance parts be immersed in water or other liquids! Should residual liquid be on "live" parts during use, there would be the risk of receiving a potentially fatal electric shock.
Before cleaning the appliance, ....
•first disconnect the plug from the mains power socket and allow the appliance to cool down.
•Clean all exterior surfaces and the power cable with a slightly moist cloth. In all cases, dry the appliance well before using it again.
•To clean the inside of the kettle, thoroughly rinse it out with water and then pour the water away.
•Do not use detergents, abrasives or solvents. These can damage the appliance.
In the event of scale deposits:
•Before descaling, remove the pourer sieve i (see chapter "Removing/replacing the pourer sieve").
•Use a descaler designed for household appliances (e.g. for coffee machines). Pay heed to the in- structions given for the descaler.
•For the stainless steel container bottom, you can use a suitable product from a specialist dealer.
Removing/replacing the pouring sieve
•Open the lid.
•Press the tab at the upper end of the pourer sieve i down and, simultaneously, push the pourer sieve to the inside.
•You can then lift the pourer sieve i up and out of its holder.
•Clean the pourer sieve i with a lightly moistened dishcloth and under running water.
•After cleaning, insert the pourer sieve i from above and then push it forward so that the tab locks into place. Ensure that the pourer sieve i grips into the holder at the lower end and is firmly seated.
