System Setup

Making the connections

The components of the 3•2•1 and 3•2•1 GS home entertainment systems are connected through the media center, using custom cables supplied with the system. The jacks on the rear of the media center are labeled (Figure 9), to help get everything hooked up right the first time.

Connecting the 3•2•1 speakers

1.Insert the single-plug end of the speaker cable into the SPEAKERS connector on the rear panel of the media center (Figure 10). Tighten the screws on either side of the plug.

Speaker cable

2.Grasp the two connectors at the other end of the speaker cable and pull the two strands of cable apart as much as necessary to reach each speaker (Figure 11).
