5.3 BLOCKAGE BETWEEN FILTER PAN AND OIL RETURN VALVE?

Check filter circuit breaker. Push the filter circuit breaker reset button located in the right-hand fryer.

Activate pump by turning oil return valve handle.

Filter motor's internal

Pump motor is clogged or faulty.

Contact your local

Factory Authorized

Service Center.

Blockage has been determined to be between the filter pan bottom and the oil return valve.

Disconnect oil line running from the filter pan to the pump at the pump end.

Activate pump by turning oil return valve handle.

Does the pump

motor run?

Yes

Allow the pump to run 20 seconds to verify that pump is not running backwards.

Put finger over the inlet connection to the filter pump.

No

Do you feel

 

 

suction?

Yes

Pump is clear of any blockages. Go to page 9 and continue.
