For direct-wired ranges:

WARNING

Electrical Shock Hazard

Disconnect power before servicing.

Replace all parts and panels before operating.

Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.

1.Disconnect power.

2.Disconnect range from downdraft vent system.

3.Slide range forward.

4.Complete cleaning or maintenance.

5.To check that anti-tip bracket is installed, remove access panel and use a flashlight and look underneath the bottom of the range:

■Look for the anti-tip bracket securely attached to floor or wall.

■Slide range back so rear range foot is under anti-tip bracket.

6.Check that range is level.

7.Reconnect range to the downdraft vent system.

8.Reconnect power.
