Always unplug the ice cream maker and allow all parts to cool completely before cleaning.

Wipe the electric motor and/or hand crank with a damp cloth to remove any debris.

Thoroughly clean the wooden bucket with a soapy sponge to remove all saltwater residue. Rinse to ensure salt does not corrode metal parts.

Wash the freezing canister, canister

Reassemble for next use.
