operating Specifications

nCapacity: certified for up to 300 gallons (1135 l); up to six months for models without a replacement filter indicator light; up to one year for models with a replacement filter indicator light

nPressure requirement: 40–120 psi (2.8–8.2 bar), non-shock

nTemperature: 33–100ºF (0.6–38ºC)

nFlow rate: 0.5 gpm (1.9 lpm)

General Installation/operation/Maintenance Requirements

n Run 112 gallons at full flow to purge out trapped air.

n Replace cartridge when the indicator light flashes or water flow rate is reduced on non-indicator units.

Special Notices

n Installation instructions, parts and service availability, and standard warranty are included with the product when shipped.

nThis drinking water system must be maintained according to manufacturer’s instructions, including replacement of filter cartridges.

nDo not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts.

nThe contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water treatment system are not necessarily in your water.

nCheck for compliance with the state and local laws and regulations.

nNote that while the testing was performed under standard laboratory conditions, actual performance may vary. Systems must be installed and operated in accordance with manufacturer’s recommended procedures and guidelines.
