Before using for the first time

The stainless steel surface has a pro- tective cover to prevent scratching dur- ing transportation.

^Do not remove this cover until the ap- pliance has been installed or built in. Start at one of the upper corners.

^Clean the inside of the appliance and the accessories with warm water and a little washing up liquid and then dry with a soft cloth.

Important: To ensure correct func- tioning of the appliance, let it stand for between ½ and 1 hour after transporting it to its final location be- fore connecting it to the mains.

Switching on

The refrigerator and freezer sections are switched on together by pressing the main switch or by pressing the on button on the left hand side of the con- trol panel.

Switching off

^Press the main switch.

The temperature display goes out and the cooling process is switched off. If this does not happen, then the safety lock is still engaged.

To switch the refrigerator section off separately

The refrigerator section can be switched off without having to switch off the freezer section. This is useful e.g. whilst on holiday.

^Press the On/Off button for the refrig- erator section.

The temperature display for the re- frigerator section goes out and the refrigerator section switches off.

^Press the main switch.

Bars will light up in the temperature dis- play and a buzzer will sound. The appli- ance starts cooling.

Allow the appliance to run for a few hours before placing food in it. This will ensure that the temperature is suffi- ciently low.
