bulbs. Replace

with 40-watt incandescent bulbs (WB02X4253) available from your GE supplier.

High intensity 40-watt bulbs (40S 1 lN/1), which are

available in supermarkets and hardware stores, may also be used for replacements. Raise light compartment cover and replace screw. Connect electrical power to microwave oven.

To replace your oven light, first disconnect power at main fuse or circuit breaker panel or pull plug. Remove the top grill by

taking out the 2 screws that hold it in place.

Next, remove the single screw located above door near center of oven that secures light housing. Replace burned-out bulb with a 30-watt incandescent bulb (WB02X4235), available from your GE supplier.

Clean off the grease and dust on hood surfaces often. Use a solution of warm water and detergent. About 1 tablespoon of ammonia may be added to the water. Take care not to touch the filters and enamel surfaces with this solution; ammonia will darken metal.
