To loosen soil, lay a dampened cloth on seal for a few minutes. Then wipe clean. A mild

 

 

detergent can be used. DO NOT use any sharp object on the seal; it will cut or

 

 

permanently damage it.

Rubber

Remove knob. Pull gasket toward stem and lift out. Wash with mild detergent and hot

water; rinse and dry. Replace gasket by fitting groove around opening. The top will not

 

 

be flush with the glass surface.
