Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS

Shut off gas to the appliance.

Extinguish any open flame.

Open Lid.

If odor continues, immediately phone your gas supplier.

If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.

PROPANE GAS INSTALLATION

The cooktop is ready for use with natural gas. It may be converted for use with propane gas using the Burner Propane Conversion Kit, Model NLPKIT5, Part Number 35-00-622. A qualified service techhnican or installer can convert the cooktop. Be sure the unit being installed is correct for the type of gas being used. Refer to the Rating plate on the right side underneath the cooktop, see pages 5 to 7 for the location.

Check your local building codes for the proper method of installation. In the absence of local codes this unit should be installed in accordance with the National Fuel Gas Code No. Z223.1 Current Issue and National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA No. 70 Current Issue or the CAN - B149 Installation Codes for Gas Burning Appliances and C22.1 Canadian Electrical Code Part 1.

CAUTION

When connecting the unit to propane gas, make certain the propane tank

is equipped with its own high pressure regulator. In addition, the pressure

regulator supplied with the cooktop must be on the inlet gas pipe of this
