Loading the Silverware Basket(s)

TheThermador dishwasher Model DW44Z has a large silverware basket in the bottom rack. An additional upper small silverware basket for use with the Upper Wash feature is also included (See Figure 9).

For personal safety and a top quality clean, place the silverware in the baskets:

•so that they do not nest together. (See Figure 10)

•place silverware with handles-down, but

•place knives and other potentially danger- ous utensils handles-up.

CAUTION

Always load sharp utensils with the sharp point down!

Large Silverware Basket with Lid

Some models have a large silverware basket with a lid. The lid prevents nesting of silverware,To use, first fold the basket lids down (snap in place), then load silver- ware. Refer to Figures 11a, 11b and 12 for recom- mended silverware loading.
