HOW TO REMOVE AND INSTALL REFRIGERATOR DOOR
1. Removing Refrigerator Doors
NOTE: Handle, top hinge and hinge cover appearance may vary from illustrations on this page.
WARNING
•Disconnect electrical supply to the refrigerator before installing. Failure to do so could result in death or serious injury.
•Do not put hands or feet or metal sticks into the air vents, base grille, or bottom of the refrigerator. You may be injured or receive an electrical shock.
•Be careful when you work with the hinge, base grille, and stopper. You may be injured.
I_ Left Door
Open the door. Remove the top hinge cover screw (1).
Use a flat | blade screwdriver | to lift | the | tabs on the front underside | of | the | cover(2). | Lift | up | the cover. | ||||||||
Disconnect | all | wire | harness | (3). |

Remove | the grounding | screw(4). |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| ||||
Rotate | hinge | lever | (5) | counterclockwise. | Lift | the | top | hinge | (6) free | of | the | hinge | lever | latch | (7). | |||
Place the | door | on | a | surface | with | the | inside | up. |

I_ Right Door
•Open the door. Remove the top hinge cover screw (8).
•Use a flat blade screwdriver to lift the tabs on the front underside of the cover (9). Lift up the cover.
• | Rotate | hinge | lever (10) clockwise. | Lift the top hinge | (11) free | of | the hinge lever latch (12). |
• | Place | the door | on a | surface with the | inside | up. |

[] CAUTION: When lifting the hinge free of the latch, be careful that the door does not fall forward.
•Lift the door from the middle hinge pin and remove the door.
•Place the door, inside facing up, on a nonscratching surface.
