USING YOUR RANGE

The oven vent

wWARNING

Burn Hazard

Use pot holders when touching items left near oven vent.

Failure to do so can result in burns.

Hot air and moisture escape from the oven through a vent located at center rear of the cooktop. The vent is needed for air circula- tion. Do not block the vent by using extra large pans or covers. You will get poor baking/roasting results.

NOTE: Never store plastics, paper, or other

items that could melt or burn near the ovenOven vent vent, or any of the surface burners.

The storage drawer

You can remove the storage drawer to make it easier to clean under the range. Use care when handling the drawer.

Removing the storage drawer:

1.Empty drawer before removing. Pull drawer straight out to the first stop. Lift

front and pull out to the second stop.

2. Lift back slightly and slide drawer all the way out.
