Before you call for service

Below are some troubleshooting tips which can save you time and money. Please review the charts on the following pages.

You may not need to call for service.

		If you do not use your dishwasher for long periods of time,
		we recommended that you at least run the shortest wash
		program once every week. This will help keep the seal
		moist and help avoid the motor from making noises.

		Check if your kitchen sink is draining properly. If not,
		please call a plumber.
Suds in the tub	Correct detergent was not used	Use only the special dishwasher detergent to avoid
		an overaccumulation and overflowing of soap suds.
		If this occurs, open the dishwasher and let suds
		evaporate. Add 1 gallon of cold water to the tub.
		Close the dishwasher and start the wash cycle to
		drain out the water. Repeat if necessary.
	Rinse agent was spilled	Always wipe up rinse agent spills immediately.
Stained dishwasher	Detergent with	Some detergents contain colorant (pigment or dyes) that

		Check the detergent cup for signs of any discoloration.
