Press +1PLAY or < PLAY while the power is off.

The power is turned on and play of the inserted tape begins.

The volume level is displayed during tape operation.

WA STOP/EJECT – Stops play. The power will be automatically turned off.

IIPAUSE – Pauses play. To resume play, press again.

M/W~ – Rewinds/fast forwards. To stop the winding, press \A.

When the end of a tape is reached, press WA to release U,w.

The OPEVBATT/DIR indicator – Indicates the playback

side.

U:The side facing out (front side) is played.

D:The back side is played.

REVERSE MODE – Selects reverse mode.

~G (pressed): Plays both sides of the tape once, Play stops at the end of the reverse side.

1~=) (released): Plays both sides repeatedly.

DIR – Changes play side.

W= STOP/EJECT – Stops play. The power will be automatically turned off.
