PROBLEM

Cooking results are not what you expected

The display shows “PF” “F,I, or “F3”

shows on the display

POSSIBLE CAUSE

The oven is not level.

The oven temperature seems too low or too high.

The oven was not preheated before baking.

The recipe has never been tested or is not from a reliable source.

The pan used is not the type or size recommended in the recipe.

There is not proper air circulation around pan when baking.

There has been a power failure.

SOLUTION

Level oven. (See Installation Instruc- tions.)

Adjust the oven temperature control. (See “Adjusting the oven temperature control” on page 14.)

Preheat oven when called for in recipe.

Use only tested recipes from a reliable source.

Refer to a reliable cookbook for recommended pan type and size.

Allow 1l/z to 2 inches (4-5 cm) on all sides of pan for air circulation. There must be a minimum space of 1 inch (2.5 cm).

Reset the clock. (See page 10.)

Call for service. (See Step 3 on page 39.)
